This is my favorite method for cooking veggies. Tender green beans are steamed and then sauteed with an oh so yummy butter garlic sauce.

Ingredients
1 lb. fresh green beans trimmed
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Place all the ingredient in a large skillet. Over medium heat bring water to boil. Cover and steam for 5 to 6 minutes. Uncover and turn the heat up to medium high and sauté for 5 more minutes or to desired tenderness. Enjoy!
