This isn't your typical pasta salad. This straightforward recipe makes an ideal side dish for your upcoming cookout. Transform it into a main course by incorporating your preferred protein. I chose chicken, but shrimp or salmon would be great options as well. For convenience, feel free to use your preferred bottled Caesar dressing, but I highly recommend trying the delicious recipe provided below.
Serves 8 to 10

8 ounces pasta (your favorite shape)
2 cups Caesar dressing
6 cups sliced romaine lettuce
1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese (additional for garnish)
3 cups croutons
Caesar Dressing
1 1/2 cups mayo
3 cloves minced garlic (around 2 teaspoons)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon anchovy paste
1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese graded
3 tablespoons milk
Prepare the pasta following the instructions on the package. Allow it to cool slightly, then place it in a large bowl with 1 cup of dressing. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Mix in the romaine lettuce, cheese, and croutons. Just before serving, stir in the second cup of dressing and garnish with additional shredded or shaved parmesan. Enjoy!
To make the dressing, mix all the ingredients with a whisk, blender, or immersion blender.
